He completed his undergraduate education at Boğaziçi University in 2003, in the Guidance and Psychological Counseling Program, and his master's degree in the Adult Education program at the same university in 2006. He completed his doctorate in 2013 at Istanbul University Labor Economics program with his thesis on the relations between the higher education system and the labor market in Turkey. Between 2003 and 2014, he worked as a school counselor in educational institutions affiliated with the Ministry of National Education. In 2014, he started working as a faculty member in Marmara University, Department of Educational Sciences, Department of Educational Administration. He still works in this institution. He was a visiting researcher at Oxford University in the 2018-2019 academic year. Along with his professional life, he took an active role in various non-governmental organizations and academic journals operating in the field of education and social sciences. He carried out numerous research, program development and implementation projects regarding formal and non-formal education. He continues his research and publications on education policies, education-employment relations, higher education and science policies.
