Cenk Beyaz
He was born in Üsküdar in 1988. He completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Istanbul. He completed his undergraduate education at Gazi University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Public Administration in 2010, and his master's degree at Hacettepe University, Faculty of Letters, Department of Sociology in 2013. Beyaz, who received his PhD degree from the same department in 2019, worked as a lecturer at Recep Tayyip Erdoğan University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Social Work between 2013 and 2020; Between 2020-2021, he worked as a faculty member at Karadeniz Technical University, Faculty of Letters, Department of Sociology. Between 2011 and 2012, he studied at the Department of Sociology at the University of Groningen, Faculty of Social and Behavioral Sciences in the Netherlands, within the scope of the Erasmus Educational Mobility Program, and at the International School of German Language and Culture at the University of Heidelberg in Germany, within the framework of the International Summer School Program in 2014. He currently works as a faculty member at Istanbul Medeniyet University, Faculty of Letters, Department of Sociology. He gives lectures and conducts research on topics such as migration, demography, rural areas, ethnography, scientific research techniques and qualitative research.
